Relaxation Station is the lunch-time express for busy working professionals in the area who want to reduce their stress levels. The services offered are listed in the section below with the Spa Menu. Generally these services are available Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 2 PM. You can pay as you go or take advantage of pre-payment packages of 5 and receive 1 extra session free.
The cost of most services is $55.00. The Facial Rejuvenation is $75.00 and there are discount packages available.
De-Stress Treatment #1: Calming down the nervous system can benefit everything else. This treatment addresses emotional balance. It can be a wonderful treatment after a particularly stressful day.
De-Stress Treatment #2: This treatment combines the above treatment and adds to it frequencies that address the sympathetic nervous system (fight and flight response). It is useful with those who suffer from anxiety, PTSD or long-term chronic stress. This would be a good treatment for those who have recently experienced any emotional trauma (such as a divorce or death of a loved one).
Head and Neck Tension: This is a great treatment for postural strain from computer usage, sitting all day, long distance driving, eyestrain from prolonged reading or studying, residual effects from whiplash and other head/neck strains. This can ease most headaches either as a preventative or during one. Some upper shoulder work can be added to this treatment if needed.
Back Tension: A great treatment for back pain as it targets the intrinsic muscles of the spine, along with the nerve and cartilaginous structures. This is good for osteoarthritis, bone spurs or degenerative changes. This can be done for those who do not wish to have an adjustment.
Head to Toe Treatment: This is a combination of the head/neck and back tension treatments. Total Bliss!
Mini-Raindrop Therapy: a wonderful adjunct to end any treatment to calm and soothe nerves and muscles. This utilizes essential oils dropped along the spine and feathered into the skin. Warm towels can be applied to the spine so the heat can drive the healing oils deeper. There is also an immune booster mini-raindrop treatment available. The immune booster does have some strong smells associated with it; not recommended if you are returning back to work afterwards.
Energy balancing: Utilizing the ancient art of acupuncture with the high-tech of the microcurrent machine to balance the meridians by addressing any active alarm points.
Cranial Sacral Balancing: Another head to toe check-up to re-align the body and enhance cranial-sacral flow. Occipital fibers can be checked to assess visceral or organ relationships to your structure.
Facial Rejuvenation: This is an acupuncture-based therapy to subtly effect acupuncture meridians while lifting and toning facial tissues. Described as “health care disguised as a facial”, it is a calming spa-like experience to uplift and improve your skin at the same time. Done in a series it can provide benefits similar to a face lift without the surgical complications. The cost for this is different that the other services. Please inquire for details.
Anti-cellulite treatment: Designed by me in response to requests for such a treatment. Combining principles from frequency specific microcurrent and the acupuncture-based therapies along with essential oils seem to assist in reducing cellulite. Can either be applied to the abdomen or thighs where cellulite accumulates. Best done in a series and in conjunction with other healthy lifestyle changes for greater results.
Pre-Sutural: On its own merits, it is a great head and neck stretch to reduce the muscular tension from postural strains. Very beneficial for those who spend most of their day sitting at a desk hunched over a computer.
Sutural: The full meal deal of the pre-sutural head and neck stretch combined with a cranial unwind in a stepwise fashion. This treatment was originally intended to treat TMJ and other cranial problems. However, it has been known to assist with relaxation, inspire creativity and boost vitality. Warning: might be too relaxed to return to work!
Get your chi flowing: Designed to open up all acupuncture meridians for general health purposes. Add this to a De-Stress treatment and you can almost float out of here. Consider this treatment a health tonic, not to replace your acupuncturist treatment plan.
