FAQ

Q: What is "Relaxation Station"?
A: Relaxation Station is the lunch-time express for busy working professionals in the area who want to reduce their stress levels.  The services offered are listed in the section below with the Spa Menu.  Generally these services are available Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 2 PM.  You can pay as you go or take advantage of pre-payment packages of 5 and receive 1 extra session free. Got to the "Relaxation Station" tab to read the list of available services.
Q: What if I have health insurance?
You are given a "superbill" which has all the information your insurance company needs to process your claim.  Insurance billing is not a service offered at this clinic.  Many people do not realize how much this service really costs in terms of office time and labor. I keep costs down by allowing you to bill your own insurance company.  I have been able to reduce my fees by over 50% from my previous practice, by just eliminating insurance billing services.  That savings in passed on to you the consumer.  That's true health care savings!  I do however, take Visa and Mastercard which will help you pay at the time.  Some services, such as the facials, are not considered a health care reimbursement item.   There are discount packages available for pre-paid treatments.

Q: What can a Microcurrent Facial do for you?

A: Microcurrent therapy has been used for years to repair injured and damaged tissue in the chiropractic and physical therapy arena. In the 1990’s an acupuncturist in Florida used microcurrent to treat Bell’s Palsy. The sagging facial muscles responded and the patient was pleased with the result. An idea was born. Could this same treatment effect the healthy side of the face as well? Treatment was applied and the patient was pleased to see even the healthy side had a reduction in facial wrinkles. Microcurrents are very gentle pulsed current, usually in the sub-sensory level of a millionth of an amp range. Microcurrents are usually used at low frequencies for therapeutic results. It is successful for pain control, rehabilitation, wound healing and energy balancing.
Microcurrent also enhances cellular metabolism, by increasing ATP (cellular energy) production by up to 500%. It also frees amino acids in injured cells, as well as promoting ion transfer through cell membranes. This is what accelerates the rate of healing and cellular repair. Microcurrent stimulates collagen and elastin production
